We've had a few days off work together, not holiday as such, becuase we've spent most of it sorting out stuff ready for the new kitchen, but we have eaten out most days cos I've not felt up to cooking and its been lovely just to spend so much time together

We went to North Camp to the fabric shop yesterday-first time I've been althoguh we drive past so often to B&Q! I bought some lovely red velvet at a bargain price, and then Si found that Art of Craft was right next door. Yes I was a very happy bunny

I got a cuttlebug christmas embossing folder, set of 4 cuttlebug christmas dies, and the new 8x8 Dovecraft christmas paper pack-its gorgeous. I've used the embossing folder already but can't show you pictures till tomorrow-the scanner is refusing to work again.

I do have a picture of my latest craft project though-meet Feathers the Robin

I just fancied sewing again. My first crafting was toy making when I was a child, I've made a few bits and pieces over the years but nothing lately. I've been asked to make some cards for my Avon lady's gift shop and she asked if I made anything else for Christmas-so I'll see if she'd like a robin or two.

I had to get Si to turn the tubes for his legs in the right way, my fingers just aren't strong enough-there has to be a gadget for this surely?

I'm off to play with my new papers!

Cute! Left a suggestion on CBC for leg turning - not sure if it will help though. Will you be making penguins, too? :oD
